Absolute Link

AdCenter
A pay per click advertising program network owned by Microsoft. AdCenter is considerably smaller than Google AdWords. AdCenter terms are reasonably priced with excellent arbitrage potential.
AdSense
An advertising network, owned by Google. Ads appear automatically next to relevant content areas on advertising pages. The site displaying the ads is paid for ad clicks by Google.

AdWords
A Google pay per click program that uses keywords to target advertisements to web visitors who want information for specific services or products. Most of Google’s ads are keyword targeted and sold on a cost per click basis in an auction which factors in ad clickthrough rate as well as max bid. Ads appear alongside Google search results and on web pages with information related to that keyword.
Affiliate Marketing
A web business system that pays affiliates for site visitors, or subscribers, and/or sales coming through affiliate page links. Commissions are tyically based on sales; usually a percentage of the sale price.
AJAX
Asynchronous JavaScript and XML is a technique which allows a web page to request additional data from a server without requiring a new page to load.
