A sequence of pages that a site visitor has viewed from the intial page through the last viewed page. Used to analyze site marketing effectiveness. Exit patterns can indicate weak pages within a web site.
Using keywords to reduce searches not related to your web site content. This is a rarely used technique because it could reduce important site traffic. Since most search engines do not use keywords to index a website, this technique is not necessary.
A new site visitor, but not identical to a “unique visitor.” The number of new visitors is less than the number of unique visitors. A unique visitor is a site visitor opening a website for the first time within a specified period, such as a month or a week.
